WACSOF Strategic Plan 2011 - 2016

It has become increasingly clear that inequality, inequity, exclusion, poverty, citizen apathy among others are still major challenges in development processes. This plan highlights the need for increased mobilization of communities and the building of strong and vibrant citizens’ movements to effectively participate in the national policy and development process, and be able to question and hold duty bearers accountable for their decisions and actions.

The WACSOF Strategic Plan articulates interventions and strategies that will contribute to the realization of a better Uganda, by enhancing citizen activism, providing information, knowledge, and skills, and creating open spaces for interaction, debate, and action.
